Dr. Caroline Teske

Dr. Caroline Teske is a behavioral optometrist, graduated from the University of Waterloo with her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry. She completed an internship in Tennessee and worked with cataract, retina and glaucoma specialists. She also received the Award for Excellence in Practice Management. Dr. Teske worked in Waterloo then opened her own Georgetown clinic in 1996. She is a TLC affiliate for laser eye surgery co-management and has worked for the National Board of Examiners and proctored interns examinations. Dr. Teske also piloted Eye See Eye Learn to encourage the testing of young children as a startup for learning.
Dr. Teske takes a holistic approach to health and believes the eyes are a window to your body. She encourages patients to be the CEO of their health and be surrounded and supported by a team of health care professionals. She educates patients to be proactive, not reactive, to disease and works with like-minded professionals to provide integrative care. She educates beyond the clinic doors through documentary videos, podcasts and community wellness events, and her expertise has been called upon for appearances on broadcast TV such as Cogeco and Rogers. She offers Syntonics Light Therapy services and is a member of behavioral optometrist groups. Dr. Teske lives in Georgetown and is a committed and active community member. She loves what she does, enhancing lives and considers it a privilege to provide care to her patients.
